1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Team Scout's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree, please don't use our services.

2. Who Can Use Our Services

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use our Services. If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use our Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.

3. Account Registration

• You're responsible for all activity under your account

4. Services Description

Team Scout provides:

• Website building and hosting for sports teams
• Team management tools (rosters, schedules, communications)
• Merchandise store functionality with fulfillment
• Mobile applications for team administration

5. Fees and Payment

• Setup fees: Due upon commencement
• Monthly fees: Billed monthly in advance
• Failed payments: 14 days to resolve before suspension
• Refunds: Setup fees non-refundable once work begins

6. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Team Scout, including:

• One-time login verification codes
• Team notifications and announcements (if enabled)

Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use services for illegal purposes
• Upload harmful, threatening, or objectionable content
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Interfere with or disrupt the services
• Attempt unauthorized access

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a license to use it solely for providing our Services. You're responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you upload.

9. Termination

By you: Cancel anytime by contacting us. We'll help export your content.

By us: We may suspend or terminate for Terms violations, non-payment, or harmful conduct.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Missouri law. Any legal action shall be brought in Jackson County, Missouri courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice — such as an in-app notification, email, or a prominent notice on our website — before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of our Services after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Services.
