Building the platformwe've always wanted

And we're inviting you along for the ride. It's time for something better—no more duct tape and platforms built in 2013.

Let's Talk
Peter McClung - Founder of Team Scout, sports team website builder based in Kansas City

Peter McClung, Founder

We got tired of SportsEngine.
And everything like it.

We're parents. Players. Coaches. We spent years trying to update schedules on platforms that fought us every step of the way. We wrestled with volunteer sign-ups that barely worked. We tried to pull reports and track data, only to find ourselves back in a spreadsheet anyway.

The websites looked like they were built in 2013—because they were. And every time we needed to change something simple, it felt like calling in a favor.

So we did what any reasonable group of people would do.

We built our own.

Over the past several years, we built a group communication app from scratch—real technology, real users, real polish. Now we're taking everything we learned and building the platform we always wanted for our own teams.

That's Team Scout.

More than a website.
A whole platform.

We're starting with websites because, let's be honest—yours probably needs help. But we're building something much bigger.

Websites

NOW

Modern, mobile-first sites that don't make you cringe. Easy to update. No tech degree required.

Merch Store

NOW

Sell apparel and team gear while funding your program. Integrate with your site or run it standalone.

Group Communications

FREE

Team feeds, announcements, and messaging that actually work. Keep everyone on the same page.

Player & Coach Profiles

FEBRUARY

A place for athletes and coaches to build their story—highlights, stats, recruiting info—all in one shareable profile.

Registrations

MARCH

Season sign-ups, camps, weight training—with payment plans that don't require a spreadsheet to track.

Volunteer Sign-Ups

MAY

Comprehensive, mobile-friendly, and built by people who've worked the concession stand.

Think of it as a home for your program—not different tools held together with GroupMe and good intentions.

Here's the deal.

We're looking for a handful of teams to work with early. Not because we need guinea pigs—because we want real partners who care about doing this right.

A custom website built by us. Not a template. Not a drag-and-drop nightmare. We design, build, and iterate with you until it's great.
Hands-on attention. We're a small team. You'll actually talk to the people building this.
First 6 months of updates included. Normally $130/month. For early access teams? It's on us.
OG status. When we launch features, you get them first. When we need feedback, we ask you. You're part of this.

What do we charge?

We're flexible. Tell us what you'd pay for a quality website—and let's talk. Most projects range from $2,000 to $4,500 depending on what needs to get done. This is a great deal.

We're building case studies and workflows right now, which means early teams get exceptional value.

Great program with limited funds? Put $500 down to get started, and we can spread the rest over six months.

Send Us a Text

We're not a big company.
That's the point.

You've dealt with platforms that have "submit a ticket" support. You've waited weeks for someone to fix a typo. You've wondered if anyone on the other end actually cares.

We care. Because we are the other end.

We're building Team Scout because we needed it. Our kids play on these teams. We've worked the chains. We've run the booster meetings. We know what it feels like when the tools don't work.

When you work with us, you're not a customer number. You're part of the founding group—the OGs—who help shape what this becomes.

Not ready for a website?
You can still be part of this.

Sign up to get updates as we build. We'll share what we're working on, when new features launch, and how early teams are using the platform.

No spam. Just the good stuff.

Let's build
something better.

Your team deserves a website that works. Your parents deserve tools that don't make them pull their hair out. Your players deserve a place to tell their story.

We're building it. Want in?
